You might notice worry alongside substance use, or find that a change in your mood affects the way you get through a day. CTACC’s mission includes substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
We listen to the connections you notice and what you want support to address. You can describe both concerns in your own words. Your experience, not a label, is our starting point.
Counselors, therapists, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and coaches work within CTACC. Each role has a different focus. Counseling and therapy can address substance use and mental health, psychiatric medication management offers psychiatric care, and recovery coaching focuses on recovery and wellness goals.
Having these roles in one practice gives you options to discuss. We do not assume you need every service. We consider the concerns you bring and the type of conversation that fits them.

Ask how the different roles within CTACC relate to your concerns. You can compare counseling, therapy and coaching. Bring psychiatric care questions to a qualified provider.
